HPD violations refer to summons issued by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) These violations are related to housing and building maintenance. Examples of these violations are Lack of heat or hot water, plumbing/electrical issues, pest infestations, mold or mildew, structural issues, unsafe conditions and failure to provide essential services or amenities required by law.
